Meet Arty Party.
Students at Miss Hall’s School participate in Horizons, a program through the exploration of purposeful service and work, challenges students to develop competence and self-worth as they set and achieve individual goals and learn to be active and compassionate members of their community.
Arty Party is one of the Horizons projects for freshwomen and it is an adventure in entrepreneurship…
The girls learn every aspect of being a working artist and selling at a craft fair HANDS-ON! First they decide what to make, then they make their products, they help market the fair, they figure out displays and set-up their booth, and then they work the fair (interacting with shoppers and making sales).
Each year the girls choose organizations that they are passionate about to donate 100% of their sales. This year’s organizations are Kiva, Malala Fund, Zana Africa and Children’s Restoration Network.
Come shop local and handmade with Arty Party at the Handmade Holiday Festival on December 6+7 at BCC’s Paterson Field House.
